There was a burglary in Little London between 2 and 4 this afternoon, Tuesday 19th. Apparently the door was broken down by force while the house was empty. If anyone has any information which might be useful, do please let the Police know, but otherwise just be warned to be extra careful about security. |

The Berden stop for the no. 26 bus, Royston to Bishop's Stortford on Thursdays, was to be discontinued in the New Year because Hertfordshire CC has withdrawn funding. The Parish Council, supported by our Essex County Councillor Ray Gooding have successfuly applied to Essex for support funding to enable the service to continue through to March 28th, when it is hoped that there will be an alternative long term solution. |

but he's not really going! On Sunday October 21st Jenny Lowe aided by the Nelsons organised a bash for John Arnell in the Village Hall. John has now retired from 20 years on the Parish Council and as chairman for 12 of those years. It was a great opportunity to thank him and his councillors and clerks for their contribution to village life, which is a bit good. There were a number of photos taken so hopefully they will find their way to the website "art gallery", all the best John and thank you. |
