Be aware - from Essex Trading Standards Print E-mail
Please be aware of  a man called "John" who is trading as ALL SEASONS - GARDENING AND TREE WORK, believed to be working in the Uttlesford area.
Complaint received from an anonymous resident of Rainsford Road, Stansted, that he did some work last year for an elderly lady and overcharged for very shoddy work. He became aggressive when the lady disputed the charge, so she paid up out of fear.
This week John has been in touch with the lady again touting for work and has been refused.
If seen, please alert ETS on their Doorstep Hotline number: 07900 164 898

Green VW on the Village Green Print E-mail
A green VW Golf TDI, reg X947 JFR, has been parked for the last ten days or so in a dangerous and illegal, position at the junction by the Village sign. We have left a note on it asking for it to be moved but to no avail. There is an Edinburgh parking permit displayed in it and we have reported it to the local Police, does anyone know to whom it belongs?
