As most people will be aware, there was a burglary at Gawlers last week. There was a rapid and useful response and we believe the police were provided with some valuable leads. When such things happen, however, the information flow around the village is a bit haphazard and John Arnell wondered if we might try and use e-mail to more effect. He would be willing, together with three others, to hold a database of the e-mail addresses in the village so that a rapid distribution of information could be achieved. We hope that it would only be necessary to use this list very infrequently, and it would not be used for any other purpose.
