We had a particularly well attended Annual Parish Meeting on Monday evening, which included a excellent presentation by Michael Fairchild, an SSE volunteer. The minutes will be made available shortly but in the meantime we all need to be sending in our responses to the NATS Consultation, The deadline date has been extended from May 22nd to June 19th. This is a particularly important meeting as it will be your opportunity to have your say on the NATS proposals for flight path changes and the application for the second runway. There will be a representative from SSE to help the process. Do come along to the village hall and support your village.
NATS are proposing new flight paths refered to as Noise Preferential Routes (NPR). Berden will be adversly affected by aircraft taking off from the Stansted South West runway and heading North and West.
