The new 'early season' Footpaths Day was a great success with over 50 villagers of all ages and a number of four-legged supporters tracing some carefully scribed routes around Berden's lovely footpaths. The spitting rain dampened no one's enthusiasm and 1pm saw the Village Hall teeming with activity all through an aura of barbecue smoke. Thanks to Stephen on the Well and on the Bar, and the many helpers who made it all run so smoothly. Stephen's new picnic tables proved themselves and were well and truly Christened. |

The Family Night and takeaway at the village hall was a great success with more than 50 people coming along, see the photos in the Berden Events album in the gallery. The next family night is March 2nd so if you have young children put it in your diary, 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm. |
