Recently a Mitsubishi Shogun was seen travelling, without lights following a quad bike, towards Manuden in the early hours of the morning; a quad bike had been reported stolen from Stocking Pelham. A safe was removed from Bonney’s in Manuden, and on Monday 27th Oct 3 people, wearing balaclavas, in either a Patrol or a Shogun (dark coloured) hit Clavering Mills and stole a black Range Rover. The owner having been awakened by the noise tried to pursue them and got knocked over for his efforts. A suspicious vehicle was seen one evening in the Dewes Green area - a black Land Rover Discovery (not very new). It left the field at high speed without lights. So please be on your guard and report anything suspicious to the police. If you have any information that you would like to pass on to your neighbours ring 777784.
