The Raven was Berden's last pub. It would be interesting to see a picture of it. Does anyone have a photo that could be put on the website for people like me with an interest.

I remember the pub when it was still open. It used to be quite lively. There were a number of relatively famous people who used to live locally and frequent the pub. Also, about every 4-6 weeks the local touring Morris dancers would come to the pub, which was good fun.

I may have a pic - i used to live next door as a child and both my parents came from the village. I will check my photos.

My mother was a Debnam and her family lived in Dewes Green. My father was living at Rooks Farm, Little London with Will Hagger.

My Aunt and Uncle Harry & Lall Hayward were the licensees of The Raven in early 1940s - before the time you are looking but strange that we should both be searching this pub this month!

My name is Ian Sell and I'm looking into the predecessors of Joy Sibley, a Berden local identity, her father, William George Sibley and mother Harriet Sarah Sibley nee Caton were the landlord of the Raven pub about 1921 and I also would like to see any photos of the pub and hopefully of him from that era
