My gt gt gt grandfather James Wright married Mary Ann Salmon in Berden 17 Nov 1834. Does anyone know if any marriage records are held in the church? If not where the original transcripts are held? Many thanks

It looks as though the earliest register starts in 1839 so we don't have any local information. You would have to go to the Records Office in Chelmsford where they might have that record. All the film we have is of the registers we deposited with the Office not long after the present encumbent came to the Parishes. We are not sure what other documents they have. Hope this is helpful.
