A date for your diary: July 11th 2.00pm 

Berden Fete has become one of the finest events of its kind in the counties of Essex & Hertfordshire; if not East Anglia. It is a traditional English garden fete with many of the features one would expect to find at such an event: coconut shy, tombola, cream teas, silver band, steel pans band, vintage cars and dozens of other stalls, side shows and loads of free entertainment.

Berden Fete, takes place in the delightful gardens of Berden Hall, generously hosted by Bob and Thelma Howells. Your help would be greatly appreciated this year, please contact any member of the committee. They are Mary Nelson (chair), Kim Dunn, Stephen Griffiths, Martin Benjamin, Sue Bates, Jan Hunter, Deborah Patrick, Rob Talks and Nick Lawler. 

Money raised is divided between the Village Hall, St Nics. and a village charity.
