A man in a blue and white pick-up, tipper truck approached a householder offering to give them free gravel since he’d apparently “just finished a drainage job”, to surface their driveway.  The price changed quickly to £3 per square yard and then was increased again.  When the householder asked for the man’s identification or business name, he became abusive and left.
